Meals at Oaklands...

We are pleased to announce that we have been accredited with the 'Sussex Breakfast Local Food' standard as over 60% of our breakfast menu is sourced in Sussex or Kent. We are delighted that we have achieved VisitEngland's new Breakfast Award, in recognition that our guests are offered a high quality and good choice of breakfast plus service and hospitality that exceeds what would be expected at our star rating.

Breakfast is included in the accommodation price and we offer an innovative Traditional English or Continental Breakfast.. 

For guests with special dietary needs please let us know prior to your arrival and we will do our best to accommodate you. 

Breakfast is served in the Dining Room or on the Terrace (weather permitting) during the warmer summer months.

Evening Meals 

As there are excellent places to eat within easy reach of Oaklands we do not serve evening meals.  With advance notice we can book tables for guests – please discuss your requirements with us. 

If you expect to arrive a little later in the evening and will be too tired to go out for a meal we are happy to prepare a light supper for you for which there will be a nominal charge.  Please let us know in advance.

We also offer Picnics & Packed lunches by arrangement.

Selection of Cereals, Muesli or Porridge

Bacon, Sausages, Mushrooms, Tomatoes

Eggs – fried, poached, scrambled or boiled

 Toast and Baked Goods 

Served with preserves, honey and peanut butter

Tea     ·   Fresh Ground Coffee  ·  Hot Chocolate

 Whenever possible we use fresh local and Fairtrade produce in our breakfasts, and our breads, jams and marmalade are all home-made
